Rise Access · Families

Support for Families

We're working to remove the barriers that keep kids from playing, and to make the local sports landscape easier to navigate.

  • Removing financial barriers

    Help with the costs of playing: transportation, food, player fees, and equipment through Rise Gear.

  • Guidance

    Helping parents navigate available opportunities and understand their local sports landscape.

  • Activity database

    A central hub for local player options and events, including open gyms, lessons, and other opportunities to develop.

  • Creating play options

    Finding avenues for every athlete to have a chance to play.

Planned family services include transportation, food support, equipment needs, referrals for crisis intervention, and player and family consultations.

Coach Connection · Coaches

Equipping Coaches

The Coach Collective

A planned multisport coaching network with a mentorship community and a structured leadership program, for coaches new to the role and those who've served for decades. It will include collaborative connections, practice plan options, and idea boards with videos, best practices, and a place to ask questions.

Parks and recreation departments, schools, and clubs will be able to enroll new coaches as soon as they come on board, so every coach has instant access to collaboration and resources.

Recognizing great coaches

Every year, R2RC will celebrate the coaches making a lasting difference in the lives of young athletes and in the community. Players will nominate the coaches who inspire, mentor, and build character.

Guidance for organizations

Support extends to parks and recs, schools, and clubs that need guidance.

Rise Gear

An athletic equipment, gear, and apparel exchange to make sure youth athletes and coaches are fully equipped to play and excel.

Root & Rally Gala

Once a year, coaches, leaders, athletic directors, and community members will gather to celebrate the remarkable achievements of youth sports advocates and dedicated coaches. The gala will also raise essential funds to provide ongoing resources for our athletic community.
